Yacht Charter Information
MYBA Terms In the MYBA agreement and in agreements with MYBA Terms, the charter rate covers the hire of the yacht along with all its operational equipment, tools, supplies, cleaning materials, crew wages, onboard crew expenses, yacht insurance, and tourist taxes. Additional expenses such as value-added tax (VAT) and other operational costs including fuel for engines and generators, jet ski and tender fuel, harbor fees & taxes, as well as food, drinks, and other non-inclusive expenses are the responsibility of the charterer. These extra costs are commonly managed through the Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), typically amounting to 25% - 35% of the charter rate.
Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) The Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) offers a clear and trackable way for charterers to manage their expenses while at sea. It covers all operating expenses such as fuel, harbor fees, customs fees, provisions, beverages, non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, fuel, as well as any special requests and incidentals on your behalf. The APA is typically 25% - 35% of the charter fee and is due at the same time as the final charter payment, approximately one month before departure. The Captain will manage all payments and provide you with an itemized breakdown of expenses at the end of the charter. Any remaining credit will be reimbursed to you in full, while outstanding expenses are to be settled in cash before disembarkation. APA provides a transparent and convenient way to handle expenses during your charter.
Gulet terms (EMT), Some Gulets and Motorsailers are contracted under the EMT (Eastern Mediterranean Terms). The charter rate includes accommodation on the vessel, crew and their expenses, fuel for up to 4 hours of cruising per day, fuel for generators (typically limited to A/C usage), public harbor fees & taxes, use of recreational equipment, and tourist taxes. VAT is payable extra by the charterer. Choose from our Half board or Full board food and drink options, including Alcoholic or Non-alcoholic beverage packages. Obligatory extra costs in these terms are Food options (Half board or Full board) and Beverage options (Alcoholic or Non-alcoholic packages). Additional expenses may include port, marina fees, anchorages, day trips, delivery fee (if appropriate), extra navigation hours, fuel for tender-operated watersports, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned.

Food is one of the most important aspects of your luxury yacht holiday, and we are committed to serving first-class meals aboard all of our charters. When chartering a Gulet, Motorsailer or luxury yacht, you are provided with a chef to prepare your food. The culinary experience on a luxury yacht can be one of the most enjoyable parts of your holiday. Each time you sit at your table, it should be a memorable and pleasant experience. Specify your own menus and enjoy your favorite Mediterranean and international specialties prepared as requested. Payment Terms After signing the MYBA or EMT charter agreement, a deposit of 50% of the total charter cost is required within 7 days and payable via bank transfer. Insurance To ensure peace of mind in the face of unexpected events that could disrupt your charter, we strongly advise securing Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance to safeguard your investment. Additionally, it is crucial for guests to have coverage for Personal Accident and Medical Insurance, as well as insurance for their belongings against theft, loss, or damage.
